Russell Brooks is the founder and principal of R. P. Brooks & Associates, LLC, a management consulting firm that is focused on executive development, corporate governance, and strategic plan facilitation.
In 2013 he retired after thirty-plus years as a banking and credit union executive.
His management consulting firm works with organizations to leverage human capital and increase revenues through effective training and managing for results. In recent years he provided consulting services on corporate governance, board-CEO relations, executive team development, and B2B sales training.
A graduate of Penn State University, he served for many years as an instructor in the Penn State University College of Business Administration. He has taught courses in marketing, management, and organizational behavior. During his career Brooks has authored numerous articles on a wide array of topics.
One of Russ’ specialties is helping organizations improve their governance. He has had experiences leading a board as a CEO, functioning as a board chair, and serving on various boards for schools, hospitals, and business trade groups.
